Meet Our Team

Christine Dresser, DVM

“Gone to the dogs at a very young age” could be my life story. My mom took me to a dog show when I was 10 and one year later, we started competing with her Bloodhound at AKC shows. I went to Highland High School and worked at a local boarding kennel throughout high school. At home, our canine population slowly expanded with the addition of a Whippet for me to show in Junior Handling. I also competed with him in obedience.  I did my pre-vet work at the University of Akron and graduated in 1985 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Over the years, we have bred and owned top winning Whippets, Manchester Terriers, Bull Terriers and Affenpinschers. I got my first Pug in 1980 and, although there are many other breeds I have owned and loved and others I admire, the Pugs have become number one for me. I have competed in conformation, obedience and agility with them. I have been the Health Liason for the National Pug Club and was voted a life member. I especially love the black Pugs and am currently working with my 16th generation of beautiful blacks.

Since dogs and cats have always held such an important position in my life, I have tried to provide compassionate care for all my patients and education for their owners so that they can have a long and loving relationship with the furry member of the family.
